Procedure for Attestation of Degree / Educational Certificates in Al Ain, UAE

My husband was recently hired to a different company here in Al Ain and as part of visa process, he's required to submit his educational certificates which should be translated in Arabic & attested in UAE.

Here's what he did:

1.) Take authenticated documents (College Diploma and Transcript of Records) to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Al Ain for the stamp which verifies that the issuing authority is real and the certificate is genuine.

NOTE: Make sure that your certificates were authenticated by CHED and DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs) in the Philippines.

- Amount: AED 150.00

- Processing Time: If no queue, this will only take you less than 5 minutes.

2.) Take stamped documents to any authorized typing center for the translation (English - Arabic). There are several legal translators here in Al Ain but what I will share is where he went to:

Al Quds Legal Translation Office

NOTE: Only the Diploma was translated to Arabic (just one page). Please beware of some typing center because my husband was told that everything should be translated. Imagine, there were like 10 pages which cost AED 100.00 each for translation. S

- Amount: AED 75.00

- Processing Time: 1-2 working days

3.) The last step is to collect your documents from the typing center then submit it to your new company. Then you're done. :)
